Announced a few weeks back at Nintendo's 2010 Media Summit, Gamestop stores in North America should now officially have the Monster Hunter 3 demo available. However, some Gamestops have already put the demos out early, so many gamers may already have it.
However it's important to remember that you DO NOT have to pre-order the game to receive the demo. Some Gamestop stores have been refusing to give away the demo without pre-order. The demo is rated "T" for Teen.
If you try to get the demo and this happens, just mention that the demo is supposed to be free, while the pre-order bonus is $5 off the final amount and a Monster Hunter 3 themed Nintendo Points Card worth 500 Nintendo Points ($5).
VidyaBridge has successfully gotten one of these demos over the weekend and will be reporting on it with impressions and a preview later in the week.
Monster Hunter Tri will be for the Nintendo Wii and features free Online Play with WiiSpeak support. The game will release alone and with a Classic Controller Pro bundle on April 20th, 2010 in North America. Monster Hunter Tri will be rated "T" for Teen.
